The Public Research Education Program (PREP) is a series of CME-accredited classes presented by Northwell Health research support staff and others across the organization designed to increase the quality of research, enhance and expand investigator capacity, and increase the efficiency of research. Classes are presented in two formats: 1) courses which are similar to traditional lectures, and as 2) hands-on interactive workshops.
Classes are free and we invite all Northwell Health employees, students, and volunteers who are working or interested in research. Interested research collaborators and community partners are also welcome to attend. PREP classes are available during the academic year (September-June). Select courses are available via WebEx, allowing you the option to attend in-person or through a computer or similar electronic device. Registration is required via iLearn. Unless otherwise noted, PREP is held at 350 Community Drive, Manhasset, NY. Light refreshments will be served. Parking validation for the visitor lot (through entrance 3) will be available at the Security Desk.
Contact the Office of Research Policy and Training at RPT@northwell.edu with any questions about PREP.
