Advancing Women in Science and Medicine Awards Breakfast

Advancing Women in Science and Medicine (AWSM) was created in an effort to advance the career opportunities and career satisfaction of female scientists at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. AWSM is comprised of a group of Feinstein Institute female faculty members who
lead programs in basic, translational and clinical research in a wide variety of areas. They research and make discoveries in autoimmune diseases, like lupus and arthritis, asthma, back pain, cancer, genetics, stem cell, spinal cord injury, hearing disorders, kidney disease and injury, heart disease, HIV, disorders of pregnancy, neurological disorders, and other diseases.
