The Chinese Association
at the Feinstein Institute (CAFI)

A celebration of culture, diversity and collaborative research.

The Chinese Association at the Feinstein Institute (CAFI) was created to celebrate Chinese culture and promote academic exchanges among Feinstein Institute researchers. The group is composed of more than 60 researchers who have a Chinese background, but anyone from any cultural background is welcome to join.

CAFI is an all-volunteer organization established to facilitate cultural celebrations and scientific collaborations between Chinese scholars and students within the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. The group organizes indoor gatherings as well as outdoor events (such as picnics and sports) during major Chinese holidays, with generous support from external and internal sources. CAFI was initiated by Jianli Chen, PhD, and is currently led by Dan Li, PhD.
